iArtX, sitio web, 26 mayo 2017: (Gabriel Bien-Aime was born on May 1, 1951 in Croix des Bouquets. As an adolescent, he studied auto mechanics in Port-au-Prince, where he worked in a garage. At the age of 20 years, he entered the atelier of Janvier Louisjuste and began creating metal sculpture. Bien-Aime's work is notable for his uninhibited expression of humor, and his frequent use of the third dimension with parts of a sculpture extending toward the viewer.
